Most garage makeovers stop at the floor. This one in Fort Lauderdale, Florida didn’t stop until every surface in the room had been reimagined — and the result is a space that no longer feels like a garage at all.
GonzaBuilt was brought in to execute a complete garage transformation that covered three distinct elements: the floor, the walls, and the ceiling lighting — each one handled with the same precision and intention that GonzaBuilt brings to every project it takes on.
The floor anchors the entire design. A handmade grey metallic epoxy system was applied across the full garage surface — a cool, sophisticated finish that shifts and shimmers with the light, bringing a depth and movement to the floor that standard grey paint or solid epoxy could never achieve. The metallic system was crafted by hand, making this floor a completely one-of-a-kind installation that serves as the visual foundation for everything built above it.
Above the floor, the walls were painted from top to bottom — a clean, deliberate finish that complements the grey metallic tones of the epoxy and gives the space the unified, intentional feel of a professionally designed room rather than a utility space. No unfinished drywall, no mismatched patches — just a clean, cohesive backdrop that lets the floor and lighting shine.
And then there is the lighting. Custom hexagon light fixtures were installed across the ceiling — a design choice that is as functional as it is striking. The hexagon pattern creates a bold geometric ceiling feature that elevates the space visually while flooding every corner of the garage with clean, even light that makes the metallic floor come alive at any hour of the day or night.
Floor, walls, ceiling — three elements, one vision, one crew. The finished Fort Lauderdale garage is a showroom, a workshop, and a statement all at once. This is what GonzaBuilt builds when a homeowner dares to ask for everything.
