One room sat a full quarter inch lower than the surrounding spaces — a difference invisible to the casual eye but catastrophic to a seamless floor — requiring a precision self-leveling compound application to raise the entire room flush with the rest of the home. Throughout the house, existing tile was filled, skim-coated, and prepared as a base for the terrazzo system rather than being demolished and carted out, saving the homeowner significant time, disruption, and cost.
